Welcoming New Clients to GTA

In the second half of 2025 GTA welcomed three new clients. We’re delighted to welcome all of these amazing events to our fold and for trusting GTA to deliver strategic, high-impact communications for them over the next 12 months.

Laureus World Sports Awards 2026 - Elevating the world’s most prestigious sporting honour in the UK

The Laureus World Sports Awards are widely regarded as the pinnacle of global sporting recognition – honouring the greatest and most inspirational sporting triumphs of the year whilst championing the life-changing work of the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.

GTA has been appointed to develop and deliver a UK-focused PR strategy to increase media coverage around the 2026 awards, and with it brand awareness and understanding of the impact sport has on people’s lives.

Work begins with the curation and management of an authoritative, independent UK Media Nominations Panel - bringing together some of the most respected names in British sports journalism to identify a shortlist of nominations for the standout sporting achievements of 2025.

As we move into 2026, GTA will then work closely with Laureus to deliver targeted, high-impact media activity, including interviews with Laureus World Sports Academy Members, Ambassadors and Nominees, compelling storytelling around Laureus Sport for Good initiatives and their impact, and strategic media engagement to create standout moments across the UK news agenda

ISPO 2026 - Global Press Office for the reimagined global Sports and Outdoor Business Trade Show

With over 40 years of combined communications experience, GTA was ready to move fast when Raccoon Media Group called asking for global communications support for ISPO 2026.

As ISPO enters a bold new era under new event directors, including its move from Munich to the RAI in Amsterdam in November 2026, our brief is to help steer global messaging  and content, and communicate a major €3M investment strategy to international audiences, helping to reposition this landmark industry show.

Our Global Press Office remit spans strategic media engagement, content creation and , proactive press outreach to help ensure ISPO’s evolution is clearly understood, widely amplified and commercially compelling.

Altra 13 Valleys Ultra – Driving awareness to grow profile and sign-ups for this ultramarathon in the Lakes.

The Altra 13 Valleys Ultra is a standout UK running event - celebrating endurance, connection and respect for the Lake District landscape, with ambitions that extend far beyond its roots.

Drawing on our experience delivering campaigns for major running events, and our established relationships across the running, health, fitness and outdoor media, we’re been recruited with some very clear goals in mind; to establish the Altra 13 Valleys Ultra as THE UK’s MUST DO trail running event, introducing long-distance trail running to a new, broader audience by telling the stories of the people who compete to show that anyone (well most of us) could take on an ultra with the right preparation.

Our work has already started as we recruit media and influencers to take part in one of the five distances available so they can create first hand experience coverage. Storytelling is also taking shape as we recruit a band of regular runners taking part to share their reasons for running  as part of a year-long rhythm of content designed to grow participation, celebrate purpose and embed the event within the Lakes community.
